When: New Holland Borough Council assembly, April 6.
What occurred: Pat Carr, auditor with William Koch & Associates, Wyomissing, reviewed the borough’s 2020 municipal annual audit and monetary report. Carr stated the monetary situation of the municipality was “actually good.” He complimented the borough for being debt-free. Council members and Mayor Tim Bender thanked Borough Supervisor Dick Fulcher and the workplace employees for his or her work leading to optimistic audit.
Police contract: Council permitted a brand new five-year (2021-25) police contract with the New Holland Police Officers Affiliation with a 3% yearly improve for officers.
New workers: John Styer, property/personnel chair, reported the borough employed two new workers: Tyler Davis to the Water Division and Todd Heidelbaugh to Streets, Parks and Upkeep Division.
United Veterans donation: Approval was given by council for a $500 budgeted donation in assist of the council’s annual Memorial Day actions.
Group occasion: Veterans of International Wars New Holland Put up #7362 will maintain an open home to rejoice its 75th anniversary on Saturday, Could 15. The occasion will run from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at 755 Rancks Church Highway, New Holland. The free occasion options meals, door prizes and visitor audio system together with state Rep. Dave Zimmerman, New Holland Mayor Tim Bender and Pennsylvania’s VFW Commander Ronald Peters.
