Veteran leisure columnist Ricky Lo has died, the Philippine Star, the newspaper the place he had labored for many years, introduced this morning.
His sister, Susan Lee, stated he died at previous 10pm due to a stroke, ABS-CBN reported. Lo began his profession within the 1960s with the Manila Instances and moved to the Star in 1986 when he was already thought of well-established within the leisure press. In a press release, the Star said, “You can be remembered Sir Ricky. It’s with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Leisure editor and columnist Ricky Lo on Could 4, 2021.”
His colleagues described him as “beneficiant” and “variety.”
